Introduction

Amrai Pari Foundation (APF) is a non-political, non-profit, voluntary social welfare and socio-economic development organization. APF began its journey in 2019 at Dhaka PTI Campus, led by Sheik Tanvir Rizvi, a member of a well-known Muslim family. It aims to improve the socio-economic conditions of poor and underprivileged youth in society and to bring positive changes to their lives.

Vision

Established and empowered poor and vulnerable rural people, including women and children, in the society.

Mission

To establish the poor and vulnerable people, including women and children, in society by making them aware, capable, self-reliant, and self-initiating through capacity building, institutions, the utilization of local resources, and the implementation of self-need-based problem-solving programs involving necessary skilled, trained, experienced, and qualified personnel.

Approach and strategy

APF’s emphasis is on a bottom-up, participatory and integrated development framework basing target group development approach, but it implements activities following community-based approaches in special cases. It mainly emphasises the fullest participation of the people in all development efforts and initiatives, and joint venture projects for the people’s development.

Objectives of the organization

APF works with a strong commitment to improving the lives of poor, vulnerable, and underprivileged communities through sustainable development and humanitarian support. The organization focuses on empowering youth, women, children, and marginalized people by providing education, skills training, healthcare awareness, livelihood opportunities, and community-based support services. Through participatory approaches and inclusive programs, APF aims to create positive social change, strengthen self-reliance, and promote dignity and hope within society.

To undertake any humanitarian or charitable program for the poor, socio-economic and environmentally vulnerable and underprivileged people of the country.
